Opening it for the first time

Ridgeline isn't notarised by Apple, so macOS blocks it once.

  1. Open the download and drag Ridgeline to Applications.
  2. Open Ridgeline from Applications. macOS says it can't be verified: click Done.
  3. Open System Settings, then Privacy & Security, and scroll to Security.
  4. Click Open Anyway beside Ridgeline, and confirm with your password or Touch ID.

You only need to do this once.

If something doesn't work

In Ridgeline, choose Help, then Diagnostics. Run the tests and copy the report.
